I had breakfast here and the food was fine. Service was a bit slow but I didn't mind as I wasn't in a hurry. I'll be back in the future.

I've only ever had breakfast here, but for good, inexpensive American breakfast... this place is great. The servers are fun, and a little sassy... which they have to be, as the Regulars will tease them about all kinds of stuff!! This is the fun part of small town living!

Sometimes at George’s Restaurant I eat light and just order a slice of ham with some veggies on top. The ham always has a great flavor and the sautéed veggies add some good flavor. The biscuits and gravy are always tasty on Sunday’s, their tenderloins and cheeseburgers also hit the spot and you can’t beat the daily specials they have on the chalkboard. It’s cool the owner buys the Pantagraph every day so his customers can read it. My favorite spot to sit is on the old school stools at the countertop. Reminds me of old diners back in the day.

The long-forgotten style diner. Small, quaint, fresh food, cooked to order. This is a family run business and they put their hearts and souls into making sure their customers are satisfied. The ONE drawback is they only accept cash, no credit or debit payments.
